Our name comes from the phrase "Here comes a rider on a fast horse!” the way in which news and information was carried across continents. In this case, it is music. We at Fast Horse see our mission as exactly that: to release the newest and most exciting forms of music from around the globe, produced, manufactured, and delivered to you in the most efficient and ethical manner possible, in a way that supports and enriches both the artists and the public.

We believe that music is the highest form of spiritual expression, and it should be promoted and celebrated as such. Music, in the form of a well-produced CD, helps to transport the listener to another place and time, better than any other artistic medium. Whether it be the cosmopolitan style of Brazilian percussion master Ramiro Musotto; the Arabic soul of Iraqi composer Rahim Alhaj; the Afro-Beat grooves of Nigerian singer Bola Abimbola; modern jazz composers like Barrett Martin and Terremoto; the experimental rock of Tuatara; or perhaps the enchanting singing of Amazonian shamans from Peru -we know you will find something that will move your spirit.
